According to AARP's 2024 Home & community preferences survey, a strong majority of adults aged 50 and older - about 75% want to remain in their current homes as they age. However AARP notes that many communities and housing policies aren't fully equipped to support this preference, highlighting the need for more affordable, accessible housing and better infrasturucture so older adults can safely age in the right place.

Conduct a one hour interview with you and all decision makers virtually to listen to your needs.  We will discuss the home, home layout and possible hazzards and any health concerns & physical capabilities. 

 

Schedule an in~Home visit

Next we will schedule an in home appointment to conduct a photo scan of each room and view the layout of the home. We will confirm all infromation from the initial virtual conference call. Following I will generate a report along with the photos that will be sent to our professional Occuptation Thereapists & clincial support for recommendations to live safely in the home.  Focus: 1.Home layout and accessibility

3. Physical capabilities and health concerns 

Once the report is complete we will then discuss the report reviewing the recommendations from our professional experts and options to speak with clincian support, access trusted local experts and support of evolving needs.
